I set up Cracking Wine in 2015 with an aim to make wine simple to understand and accessible to all. I am qualified by the WSET to an advanced level (3) and am part way through their Diploma (level 4). I am also training to be a Certified Sommelier as I'm really interested in food and wine matching and advising restaurants and bars on their wine offerings.
I've spent 20 years visiting wine regions and producers around the world and regularly attend trade tasting events held by all the major supermarkets, importers and specialist producers.
When I'm not drinking wine, I write about it too!
